Services at Recovery Mobile Clinic

How Our Mobile Model Works

Our innovative Mobile Model bridges the gap between traditional primary care and mobile healthcare. This flexible approach ensures healthcare accessibility in a convenient manner, with a schedule that changes daily but repeats weekly, making it easy for you to find us.

For Patients:

1.

Finding Our Location
  • Check our daily schedule online or call us at 248-567-2334 to find a nearby location.

  • Walk-ins are welcome at certain locations. Look for "walk-ins welcome" on our schedule.

2.

Scheduling and Appointments
  • Appointments can be made, but we also accept walk-ins.

  • If we are full, you may be asked to wait in your car to protect patient privacy.

3.

What to Bring
  • ID: Bring an ID if you have one. If not, that's okay.

  • Insurance Card: Bring your insurance card if you have one. If not, we can help you find your information or assist you in submitting a Medicaid application.

4.

During Your Visit
  • Our Mobile Clinic functions like a primary care office, including completing some paperwork.
  • Your vitals will be taken, followed by a consultation with the provider.
  • If medications are prescribed, e-prescriptions will be sent to your chosen pharmacy. Some pharmacies even offer delivery services.

5.

Continuity of Care
  • We assist with primary care, urgent needs, psychiatric medication support, and more.
  • Although we are not set up to be your primary care provider, our case management team can help you make appointments with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, or counselors.

For Community Partners:

1.

On-Site Services
  • Our team of 2-3 people (a Nurse Practitioner, Medical Assistant, and possibly a Phlebotomist/Case Manager or Admin Support) will visit your site once a week.
  • Regular visits (at least once a week) are recommended for the program's success.

2.

Vehicle Options
  • RV Clinic: Equipped with bathroom services, patients come to the clinic on the unit.
  • Ambulance: Patients can be seen in the vehicle, but a bathroom is needed at the site.
  • SUV: Used for mobile "rolling bag" clinics that set up and take down within a facility room.

3.

Service Agreement

An MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) will be established to set clear expectations for the plan and services provided.

4.

Medical Services
  • Our goal is to minimize patient transfers out of the facility for medical appointments and urgent care.
  • Services include medication refills to maintain consistency in patient regimens and reinitiate care for those who have been out of routine care.
  • We assist patients in applying for Medicaid to facilitate access to primary and specialty care services.

Our Patient Services

Treatment on the Move

The Recovery Mobile Clinic units are mobile medical teams that offer medical and social services onsite at your location similar to that of a local Doctor Office or Urgent Care. Our teams are comprised of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, EMT/Paramedics, Medical Assistants, Social Workers, Peer Recovery Coaches and other people dedicated to improving the health of our communities.

Our mobile model increases treatment availability to a population who is largely under-served. Being mobile gives us the flexibility to come to your support group, office, local safe harbor, etc. to help ensure you or your clients/patients receive the additional medical help they need.

The Recovery Mobile Clinic is also dedicated to providing treatment options for drug & alcohol addiction that have been proven effective in decreasing relapse rates. We want to work with you and your local addiction support groups, churches, counselors, therapists, parole officers, attorneys, and physicians.
