Mobile Healthcare Partnerships for Recovery Centers, Treatment Facilities, and Community Organizations

Give the people your organization serves access to comprehensive healthcare without requiring them to leave your facility.

Recovery Mobile Clinic (RMC) partners with substance use recovery centers, residential treatment facilities, transitional housing programs, and community agencies throughout Southeast Michigan to bring medical professionals and healthcare services directly to their locations.

Our mobile medical teams provide general medical care, medication management, psychiatric telemedicine services, and care coordination. Partner organizations also have the option of 24/7 on-call Nurse Practitioner support when our medical team is not physically on-site.

As a nonprofit healthcare organization, we are committed to making medical care accessible to insured and uninsured patients.

How Can Your Facility Partner With Recovery Mobile Clinic?

Recovery Mobile Clinic works with organizations that want to provide convenient, consistent access to medical care for their clients.

Our partnership program allows participating facilities to host scheduled visits from an RMC medical team. Depending on the facility's needs and team availability, services may be provided through a fully equipped mobile RV or an SUV-based team that sets up a temporary clinical space inside the facility.

Our teams work alongside your organization's staff to provide medical services and help patients connect with ongoing healthcare resources.

Who Can Become a Recovery Mobile Clinic Partner?

Our program is designed for organizations serving individuals who need accessible medical care, including:

Substance use recovery centers

Residential addiction treatment facilities

Behavioral health organizations

Transitional and recovery housing programs

Homeless shelters and outreach organizations

Community service agencies

Other organizations supporting underserved populations

We work with each prospective partner to understand their location, client population, scheduling needs, and available clinical space.

What Does the Mobile Healthcare Partnership Program Include?

Recovery Mobile Clinic offers both 24/7 on-call Nurse Practitioner access and scheduled visits from a full mobile medical team.

24/7 On-Call Nurse Practitioner Access

$500 per month

Partner organizations receive 24-hour, seven-day-a-week access to an on-call Nurse Practitioner for medical needs that arise after hours or when the Recovery Mobile Clinic team is not physically on-site.

This service provides an additional clinical resource for participating facilities and supports access to medical guidance between scheduled visits.

What Medical Services Can Your Clients Receive?

Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Community.

General Medical Care and Medication Management

Recovery Mobile Clinic provides on-site medical evaluations, assistance with health concerns, and medication management through our clinical team.

Bringing these services directly to recovery centers and treatment facilities gives patients an opportunity to address medical needs within a familiar environment.

Psychiatric Telemedicine Services

Our program includes access to psychiatric services through telemedicine.

These services support patients who need psychiatric evaluations, treatment, or medication-related care as clinically appropriate and available through the program.

Case Management and Medicaid Assistance

Navigating healthcare coverage and accessing medical services can be difficult, especially for individuals experiencing housing instability or transitioning through recovery.

Our case management team helps patients with Medicaid applications and connections to healthcare resources.

Specialty Care and Primary Care Coordination

Ongoing healthcare often requires support beyond an individual medical appointment.

Recovery Mobile Clinic helps patients schedule specialty medical appointments, coordinate appropriate referrals, and establish care with a primary care provider.

These services help patients maintain access to healthcare as they continue their recovery journey.

How Are Medical Visits Billed?

Recovery Mobile Clinic bills patients' insurance for eligible medical visits. Participating organizations do not incur additional charges for those patient visits beyond their agreed partnership and on-site team fees.

What Happens if a Patient Does Not Have Insurance?

No patient is turned away because of an inability to pay.

Recovery Mobile Clinic remains committed to providing access to medical care for uninsured individuals. Patients without insurance can receive medical services without being charged or sent a bill for their visits.

Our mission is to make healthcare accessible to the people who need it, regardless of their insurance status or financial circumstances.

What Does a Recovery Mobile Clinic Visit Look Like at Your Facility?

Our mobile healthcare teams work with participating organizations to establish a consistent service schedule. Depending on your location and the availability of our medical units, services may be delivered through:

Mobile RV Medical Clinic

Our RV units provide a dedicated mobile clinical environment where patients can receive scheduled medical services at your location.

SUV-Based Medical Team

For facilities with appropriate indoor space, our SUV-based team can bring medical staff, equipment, and supplies inside your building and set up a temporary clinical area.

Our on-site team includes a Nurse Practitioner and appropriate medical support staff. Case management and psychiatric telemedicine services help connect patients with additional healthcare resources.

The specific team arrangement and services are determined through the partnership planning process.

Recovery Mobile Clinic – Partner Site Services & Pricing

For the cost of one staff member, your organization gains a full medical team: Nurse Practitioners, case management, telepsychiatry, and 24/7 on-call support for your clients.

Recovery Mobile Clinic (RMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings healthcare directly to the people who need it most. Our mobile medical units serve people living with substance use disorder, mental illness, and homelessness at shelters, transitional housing, treatment facilities, and community agencies across metro Detroit.

We extend our services to your site so your organization can expand access to care without hiring, credentialing, or managing a medical team of its own. You choose how much on-site time your organization needs, and we bring the team to you once a week.

Our promise to your clients: we never send bills to clients, and we never turn anyone away for not having insurance.

Services included

Every partner site receives the full Recovery Mobile Clinic team, onsite and remote.

  • Weekly onsite care: a mobile medical team at your location one day a week, for as many hours as your organization finds beneficial.
  • Substance use disorder treatment: onsite Vivitrol (extended-release naltrexone) injections.
  • No controlled substances: we do not prescribe controlled medications, so there is no added storage, monitoring, or diversion burden on your organization.
  • Case management: support for continuity of care, Medicaid applications, and SNAP benefits.
  • 24/7 on-call support: clinical guidance for your staff when our team is not on-site.
  • Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner: virtual visits for your clients between on-site days.
  • Telemedicine psychiatry: scheduled online access Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Pricing

Pricing has two parts: a monthly membership for full team access, plus an hourly rate for on-site time.

Service
Price
What it includes

Team membership

$500 per month

24/7 on-call support, telemedicine NP, telepsychiatry (M–F, 8 am–4 pm), and case management

Onsite team

$200 per hour

Mobile medical team at your site once a week, for the hours you choose

Example: a full-day visit runs from 10 am to 3 pm (5 hours). Weekly full-day visits cost $1,000 per visit, or $4,000 per month for four visits, plus a $500 membership.

Maximum cost: $4,500 per month, or about $57,000 per year. Shorter on-site visit hours cost less.

The value: a full team for the cost of one

At most, a full year of weekly onsite days costs about the same as hiring one Medical Assistant. One hire gives you one person, during working hours, with one skill set. A partnership with Recovery Mobile Clinic gives your organization:

  • Nurse Practitioners who specialize in addiction medicine
  • Medical Assistants, case managers, and a telepsychiatry program
  • 24/7 on-call clinical support for your staff
  • No hiring, payroll, benefits, training, malpractice coverage, or medical supplies to manage
  • Care for every client, insured or not, with no bills ever sent to them
